Geek News: iPad 3 For Spring Release?

An inevitability? Yes. A dampener on the iPad 2 you just brought for yourself and or a loved one for Hanuk-mas? Yes. Would you prefer an Android powered equivalent? No. C’mon on now.

Once more unto the rumour-mill, our favourite Taiwanese electronics logistics news site, DigiTimes – who brought us such stories as the PlayStation 4’s end of year production – is claiming to be making with the bean spilling that the next iPad could very well be available within the next 3-4 months.

They say that the supply chain is a go with components for the fabled new tablets making their way to manufacturers with production believed to start in January, with iPad 2 units heavily reduced to make way for Apple’s new golden child.

It’s claimed that the iPad 3 will increase screensize as well as finally bring Retina Display to the tablet, the latter of which was hinted at back in June through SDK code for iOS 5.

News? Yes and no. Do I/you/any rabid Apple fanboy or girl want it? Oh most definitely yes.
