Geek News: GTA coming to the iPad

A port of Rockstar’s hugely successful handheld spinoff, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is to make its way to the iPad.

Featuring updated high definition graphics for Apple’s tablet, the game will also come bundled with the same content as its current iPhone counterpart; it’s biggest draw being user created custom soundtracks, pulling your music from your iTunes playlists.

“In addition to the wide range of features developed specifically for the previous App Store iterations, including intuitive Multi Touch user interface controls, adjusted difficulty levels and iTunes customizable radio station Independence Radio, Chinatown Wars HD comes to the iPad with brand new, updated high definition graphics.”

 
GTA: Chinatown Wars will be available to download from September 9th and will cost $9.99/£5.99.
